Terms and Conditions for Capitol Cleaners LLC

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern the use of cleaning services provided by Capitol Cleaners LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By hiring our cleaning services or using our website, you (“Client” or “you”) agree to abide by and be bound by the following terms. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.

 

1. Services Provided

 

Capitol Cleaners LLC offers residential cleaning services, including but not limited to:

 

• Regular cleaning (e.g., dusting, vacuuming, mopping)

• Deep cleaning (.e.g. move-in/move-out cleaning, tile grout cleaning, appliance deep cleaning)

• Specialty cleaning (e.g., carpet shampooing, window washing)

 

The specific services provided will be outlined in a service agreement, invoice, or quote between the Client and the Company.

 

2. Booking and Scheduling

 

  1. Booking: Clients can book cleaning services by contacting the Company via phone, email, or through our website. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from the Company.

  2. Confirmation: A confirmation email or message will be sent to the Client with details about the service date, time, and price. Clients must review and confirm the booking to finalize the appointment.

  3. Rescheduling or Cancellation: Clients may reschedule or cancel cleaning services with at least 72 hours notice before the scheduled service. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the service fee.

  4. Late Arrival or Delays: If the Company is delayed for any reason, the Client will be notified. The Company will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time, but delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

3. Pricing and Payments

 

  1. Pricing: Prices for services are determined based on the scope of work, frequency, size of the property, and other factors. A written quote or estimate will be provided to the Client before services are performed.

  2. Payment Terms: Payment for cleaning services is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The Company accepts payments via credit card, cash, check, or bank transfer.

  3. Late Payment: Any payments not made within 24 hours of the invoice date will incur a late fee of 1.5% per day. If payment is not received within 2 weeks of the completed service, the Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services and may pursue legal action to collect outstanding amounts.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

 

  1. Access: The Client must provide the cleaning team with access to the premises at the agreed-upon time. If the cleaning team is unable to access the property or perform the work due to the Client’s failure to provide access, a rebooking fee may apply.

  2. Pets: Clients should secure pets before the scheduled cleaning. The Company will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries caused by animals left unsecured during cleaning.

  3. Valuables: The Company will take reasonable care in cleaning your property, but it is the Client’s responsibility to remove or secure valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings prior to cleaning. Capitol Cleaners LLC will not be responsible for damage to items left unsecured.

  4. Complaints: If there is any issue with the service provided, the Client must notify the Company within 24 hours of service completion. The Company will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue to the Client’s satisfaction, including offering a re-clean or refund where appropriate.

 

5. Liability and Insurance

 

  1. Damage: Capitol Cleaners LLC is fully insured. In the unlikely event of property damage or injury caused by our cleaning team, the Company will take responsibility for repairs or replacement, provided that the damage was caused by our negligence or misconduct during the performance of services.

  2. Exclusions: The Company is not responsible for damage to pre-existing conditions such as stained carpets, broken fixtures, or defective appliances. Additionally, the Company is not liable for any items damaged during the cleaning process if the Client has failed to disclose their condition beforehand.

  3. Force Majeure: The Company will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, accidents, or acts of government.

 

6. Health and Safety

 

  1. Cleaning Products: Capitol Cleaners LLC uses professional-grade cleaning products. The Client may request the use of alternative cleaning products, but The Company is not liable for any property damages that may result from the use of the requested alternative cleaning product. The Client is responsible for notifying us of any hazardous conditions or materials on the premises. Our team reserves the right to refuse service if a situation is deemed unsafe.

 

7. Privacy Policy

 

Capitol Cleaners LLC values Client privacy. We collect and process personal data only for the purpose of providing cleaning services. We will not share, sell, or distribute Client information to third parties except as required by law.

 

8. Changes to Terms

 

Capitol Cleaners LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

9. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the state laws of Virginia.
